For pleasure, Valais Wine Tours also goes out of the canton... indeed, for lovers of sublime landscapes, walks in the vineyards and good wines, there is no good reason to deprive yourself of an escapade in Lavaux!
I can organise tailor-made outings in this beautiful neighbouring region, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2007!
The walks in the vineyards can be done on foot, by bike or by small train. The paths that wind through the terraces offer breathtaking views of Lake Geneva and the Alps. We will take advantage of our escapade to stop in one or several cellars to taste magnificent Chasselas, Pinot Noir or Gamaret...
For lunch, we can take advantage of the welcoming restaurants of Lavaux selected for their quality, their welcome and their splendid view, the option of a picnic under the arbour is also possible and why not a meal on a mythical boat of the CGN with a view on Lavaux!

The other vineyards of Vaud and Geneva are not to be outdone, La Côte, Chablais and little jewels like Dardagny offer a beautiful variety of wines and a nature rich in flora and fauna.
Another favourite in 2021...the Grisons, in the Heidiland region. Pinot Noir grows here like a king, but a tasting of Completer, an ancestral grape variety typical of the region, is a must...following this beautiful Rhine valley, one can even go as far as the waterfalls in Schaffhausen, and a trip to the Hallau vineyard.
