Œnotourisme….Wine tourism....

I was born with one foot in each of these areas...

A bit like a blend, I inherited the passions of my two grandfathers: 

Louis Antille, my paternal grandfather, the founder of the Crans-Montana resort, who built the first hotel in 1892, and Ulysse Eggs, my maternal grandfather, a simple winegrower, who managed to feed his family by cultivating his vines in Granges...

These two worlds came together at my parents' Hotel-Restaurant, where I spent the first 16 years of my life...far from the vineyards, at 1700m (now the Crans Spa)

In the bistro, the balloon of Fendant or Goron served as a social link; in the restaurant, the wine accompanied the great gastronomy, it was considered as a prince...

And as the grape does not fall far from the vine but takes its time to ripen, I took a few years to realise that I could guide tourists through sublime wine landscapes, make them meet real winegrowers and discover the incredible quality of Swiss wines...

Valais Wine Tours was founded in 2007. Apart from the influence of family roots, the creation of this company is the result of several passions; Nature, Culture, Heritage, hiking and of course the Love of Wine and the world around it...

It is also the fusion of different trainings:

  • Hiking guide (diploma from St-Jean 1999)

  • Culture and Heritage Guide, Diploma work: "A walk through the history of a vineyard" (UNIGE)

  • Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET): 2, 3 Advance with Merit, Ecole du vin de Paris, 4 Diploma (1 year), WSET School London (level preceding Master of Wine)

Valais Wine Tours (VWT) offers to discover the Swiss wine world in a personalised way, adapting to the client's desires, while suggesting the region's must-sees.
