Departure on foot from the village of Champlan for the bisse de Clavau, with a magnificent walk through the terraced vineyards, whose dry stone walls are sometimes more than 20m high.

Explanation of the surrounding nature, the landscape and the work in the vineyard, and an approach to the history of man, vine and wine in the Valais. Tasting of a glass of wine from the backpack in the vineyard.

Departure from the village of Salquenen.

Visit of the magnificent Valaisan vine and wine museum. Wine tasting at a local winery.

Departure on foot for the wine trail, walk in the vineyard with a view of the surrounding nature, study of the landscape and the work in the vineyard, explanations on the history of the vine and wine in Valais. (approx. 1.5 hours of easy walking)

Lunch and wine tasting at the Château de Villa in Sierre, visit of the temporary exhibition of the Vine and Wine Museum.

Plan Cerisier

Departure from Crans-Montana, or from the plain. Pick up at the hotel, bus to Martigny.

Visit of the Gianadda Foundation and its current exhibition and/or visit of the Saint-Bernard Dog Museum. Visit of the hamlet of Plans-Cerisier, wine tasting at a wine grower's with explanation of the wine making process and the work in the vineyard.

Lunch at the village restaurant. Walk through the vineyard to the Bâtiaz tower with an overview of the surrounding nature, study of the landscape and the work in the vineyard, explanations on the history of the vine and wine in Valais. Visit of the Bâtiaz tower.

Chamoson / Fully

Departure from the village of Chamoson. Walk in the vineyard with an overview of the surrounding nature, study of the landscape, work in the vineyard and explanations on the history of the vine and wine in Valais. Tasting at the home of a local winemaker, explanation of the wine-making process.

Drive to the village of Saillon, meal in the village and visit of the smallest vineyard in the world "la Vigne a Farinet". Transport to Conthey/Vétroz, tasting of typical wines of the region in a prestigious cellar of the village.

Informations

Visits, excursions and tastings are possible from a few hours to several days. Groups of up to 4 people can travel in a private hybrid vehicle, while larger groups can travel by public transport, private bus or coach.

Meals can be provided in certain wineries or restaurants, and picnics or catering can be arranged for larger groups on request.
